3ds max 3d luggage box studio tutorial
Saturday, October 4th, 2008Hello friends today I will show how create a 3d luggage box
With the help of Editable poly and other primitives in 3ds max.
[1]-First of all you will press (ctrl +N) now you will see the new window is open
Click on the Geometry > Standard primitives > Box.
Create a box with the following size
(Length: 223.0) (Width: 89.0) (Height: 20.0)

[2]-Select the box and convert into the Editable poly
Select the polygon mode with the Ignore back facing

[3]-Now make a selection like this
Apply the Extrude polygon and use the following setting

[4]-Select the polygon mode with the Ignore back facing
Again make a selection like this and apply the Extrude polygon
And use the following setting

[5]-Now your object should like this

[6]-Create another box with the following setting and convert into the Editable poly
Now make a selection and apply the Extrude Polygon now use the following setting

[7]-Again make a selection and apply the Extrude Polygon now use the following setting

[8]-Your object should like this

[9]-Now again create a box and convert into the Editable poly
Select the polygon mode now select the polygons and delete it
Apply the shell modifier and use the following setting

[10]-Create a chamfer cylinder with the following size
(Radius: 1.4) (Height: 19.0) (Fillet: 0.5)
Convert into the Editable poly
Make a selection and apply the Extrude Polygon
Now use the following setting

[11]-Apply the Turbo Smooth Modifier with the (Iteration: 1.0)

[12]-Create a Rectangle with the following size
(Length: 11.0) (Width: 35.0) (Corner radius: 3.34)
Now apply the Extrude Modifier with the (Amount: 2.0)

[13]-Create a another chamfer cylinder and set like this
Now Boolean it

[14]-Create a half chamfer cylinder and set like this
![]()
[15]-Create a rectangle with the following size
Open the rendering palette and use the following setting
Now create like this

[16]-Select the rectangle and click on the mirror button
You will see the mirror palette is open now use the following setting

[17]-Now click on the line button and create path like this
Apply the Extrude Modifier with the (Amount: 4.0)

[18]-Create two chamfer cylinder and set like this

[19]-Create chamfer cylinder and chamfer cylinder and set the object like this

[20]-Open the material and make a material like this
Assign to the object
